Review Summary: The author needs an editor badly...
Review: I thought that a book had to be edited in order for it to be published. Well, apparently I thought wrong. D.L. Collins was in much need of an editor for this project. Even a friend with a high school diploma or a grade school student should have looked this over.

If you can get past the redundant and badly written "ghetto-speak" and if you can try to ignore the punctuation or lack thereof and if you are creative enough to re-write this story with the correct grammar, spelling and sentence structure, you just might have a chance to appreciate the story here.

It was a horrible read but interesting characters. Collins could have dug a bit more into the background stories and since she had such leading characters (and did a poor job of speaking from their narrative point of view) you sort of got lost as to who was speaking from their point of view and when.

I purchased it and will put it on the shelf somewhere...Hey its a lesbian novel amongst a literary world of so few. I won't shoot D.L. but I will mark her gravesite. Something tells me she is going to do a part 2.

LOL

Review Summary: Horrible Editing!
Review: OMG! This book was not edited AT ALL! There was so much slang used that you could barely understand it. And apparently it was not edited or proofread at all, there were so many typos in it that it was unbelieveable. I would not refer this book for anyone to read!

Review Summary: Complete an utter tripe
Review: This book reads as if it were written by someone with a fourth-grade education.

It may well be the worst book I have ever tried to read. It is only 86 pages in length, but by the time I got to around page 70, I simply could not force myself any further.

It is extremely repetitive with it's ghetto-style dialog, and the main character is totally unlikable.

The main character is a very butch gay woman who merely uses other women as objects of her lust. She has no respect for them, no sense of responsibility to speak of, and definitely no ethical values--commitment means nothing to this woman. In addition to this, she is an extremely arrogant, vain and self-involved person.

In this book, every woman she meets wants her, and no matter how she treats them,(she is sometimes physically abusive), when she leaves one of them, the woman always wants her back.

Despite the fact the main character cannot even form a reasonable sentence in English,(and neither can anyone else in the book), she is portrayed as being a very successful and wealthy businesswoman.

The idea behind the plot is actually not that bad--the main character becomes involved with twins, (as well as with several other women)-- and the twins do not know this. However the execution of the story is so poorly done and so outside the realm of reality, it is not worth reading.

Review Summary: That's a chick..........................whaaaatttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This book will make you wonder about even your best friend. At first, the actions, demeanor, and attitude of Neko Jones says dude, but naw. This female got the game turned around. Neko and Nicola are really intriging to watch. The games that most men play in relationships make women hate them. Neko shows both a feminine and masculine side that play two sisters like a fiddle. Neko wants to be the family type, settle down, have some kids, and love Stephanie like a husbnad loves a wife. Nicola plays the femme role, cute, sexy, and capable of even enticing her best friend to want to get at her. She plays a lighter role with Sabrina in the ATL submitting to being swooned instead swooning. The story line is so deep yet easy to follow. I felt like a spectator watching the whole story unfold, and waiting for Neko to get caught up. If you wanna see the flip side of how men play females, watch how this female plays females in a masculine role. I couldn't put the book down. I read it in two hours. I can't wait for the second installment becausse the twist in the end blew me away.
